Cool Ariann in Colorado

I finished my ariann and brought it to visit in Colorado. Since it was made from the 100%wool Selkirk in Plum, it was warm enough for most days. I like the fit. I made the 3/4 sleeves but I have short arms and it ended up be a full sleeve after blocking. The yarn is still a bit scratchy but claims to soften with each washing.
Thanks Bonne Marie for a great pattern.

You are drop dead gorgeous, m'lady!

Just beautiful - the color - the stitiching - thrilling!

My Selkirk one gets softer everytime I wash it. It is really an old-fashioned wool - maybe mule-spun? I know that it was oily...

Thanks for the kind compliments - right back atcha~!
